Tiger's eye (also called tiger eye) is a golden to red-brown colour, with a silky lustre and a member of the quartz group, its silky, lustrous appearance is from the parallel growth of quartz crystals and altered fibres that have mostly turned into limonite. The approximate stone size is 2.5cm – 3cm. Believed to have positive health benefits, these gemstones can be used for a variety of purposes.
